Gunmen torch body after killing man

MANSEHRA: Gunmen shot dead a man and injured his wife in Lohar Banda area here on Monday.
Ansa Bibi told the police that Mohammad Adnan, who had enmity with her family, entered their house in Lohar Banda and opened indiscriminate fire on them.She added that she and her husband Samad Khan suffered bullet injuries and fell on the ground. In the meantime, she said, the attacker sprinkled petrol over them and set them ablaze before fleeing the scene.
“My husband who was seriously injured was burnt to death while I was rescued by neighbours when raised alarm,” she said.The police later took the charred body of Samad Khan to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital for autopsy.According to doctors, the condition of injured woman was stated to be serious.
