Media barred from entering ECP premises

ISLAMABAD: The media has been barred from entering the premises of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). A circular issued in this regard said neither an officer would contact the media nor could the media access any office on the premises.  The secret circular of banning media from entering the ECP premises has been sent to all departments. All officers have been advised against passing any information on to the media and in case of leak of information the telephone record and emails of officers concerned would be checked.
