Three terrorists, soldier killed in Swat clash

MINGORA: Three militants and a soldier were killed in a clash in Malam Jabba in Swat district, official sources said on Sunday.The sources said the incident occurred during a search operation in Khwar Pattay village in the picturesque Malam Jabba area.
“Security forces and police clamped a curfew and launched a search operation in Khwar Pattay in Malam Jabba after the forces received information about the presence of militants in the area,” the sources said.
They added that during the search the militants opened fire at the soldiers and shot dead a soldier identified as Javed.Security forces, the sources said, returned the fire and killed three militants. The search operation is still in progress in the area.
