Tractor is a tractor, inside or outside parliament: Abid Sher Ali
FAISALABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that a tractor is a tractor and a trolley is a trolley, it does not matter if it is inside the parliament or outside.
Talking to newsmen here on Saturday the state minister said that Kh Asif did not name Shireen Mizari or any person in his statement on the floor of the House but it is his largeheartedness that he apologized to the whole parliament.
Abid Sher Ali said that Kh Asif had just pointed that whoever was interrupting during his speech, be told to keep quiet and such statements are often said in the House and do not matter.
Here he said that the prime minister had announced a reduction in the prices of tractors.
This announcement had sent a wave of happiness among the farmers as tractors are the symbol of the farmers.
The state minister said that the name of the prime minister did not appear in the Panama Papers but even than he (prime minister) presented himself for accountability. He said the government is sincere regarding the Terms of Reference and we want the issue be resolved and are cooperating on the issue.
He said there is no need to use street politics on this issue. He further said that the prime minister is fast recovering and it is expected that he will return before Eidul Fitr.
Abid Sher Ali said that the duration of load shedding is reducing and we are ensuring that no load shedding takes place during Sehri and Iftari timings.
He said in those places where power thefts are committed the duration of load shedding will be increased. He said in the industrial areas of the country load shedding is being held for five hours and we are striving to reduce it to four hours.
