Geo’s ‘Pak Ramazan’ wins hearts of millions worldwide

ISLAMABAD: On its first day, Geo News transmission Pak Ramazan, hosted by Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain, won hearts of millions of viewers worldwide. Families of the victims of Gulshan-e-Iqbal terrorist hit on Easter festival were also invited to the transmission in addition to hundreds of others.

A woman said she broke her marriage of 14 years when she converted to Islam from Christianity and her second husband tortured her kids, especially the youngest girl, vicariously. Tears trickling down her cheeks, she said she now lives in Saram Barney House with respect and dignity.

The participants won 12 motorcycles, gold coins, diamond rings and a lot more. The participants appreciated singer Tahir Shah in the show. Dr Hussain appreciated the sacrifices of Pak Army in the fight against terrorism and sectarianism. He appealed for donations for medical treatment of a kidney patient and on his appeal Rs250,000 was collected.
