Protest against drone attack in Islamabad soon, says JUI-S chief
NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq on Saturday said that all is set to stage a protest rally against the drone strikes in Islamabad.
Talking to reporters in Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak here, Maulana Samiul Haq, who is also the head of Defence of Pakistan Council (DPC), said arrangements for today’s protest rally against the drone strikes in Islamabad had been finalised.
He added that the protest rally of the DPC would be held in Aabpara Chowk in Islamabad.
He said the venue was changed after the administration refused to give the permission for a protest rally in front of the National Press Club in Islamabad.
The Maulana said
the silence of rulers and politicians on the drone strike in Balochistan that killed the supreme commander of Mullah Akhtar Mansour was disappointing and deplorable.
