Tajik citizens in Pakistan vote in referendum
Islamabad
Citizens of Tajikistan living in Pakistan took part in an important political event — a national referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan —and visited the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Islamabad to vote in a national referendum.
The broad participation of the people in the referendum shows the activity of citizens in the political life of independent Tajikistan, the high level of political culture of responsibility, supporting peace, stability and socio-economic stability and cultural development of society.
It may be mentioned here that a large number of students also participated in this exercise besides members of media and civil society who witnessed the referendum proceedings with keen interest.
