Hafeez files complaint with Pemra against TV channels
ISLAMABAD: National star cricketer Mohammad Hafeez lodged a complaint with Pemra against TV channels for airing allegedly baseless news on his injury. Pemra has referred his complaint to the Pemra Council of Complaints, Lahore.
The cricketer in his complaint requested Pemra to take action as per its laws on airing unprofessional and irresponsible reports against him disseminating one sided views and news without approaching cricketer and taking his narrative.
Mohammad Hafeez further stated that channels not only declared his injury, sickness fake but also declared his MRI reports as fabricated. These news reports and arguments were made at such an instance when Pakistani Cricket Team was touring India and he was representing Pakistan as an Ambassador. He further expressed that such news views had put him and his family in agony.
In pursuance of Pemra laws complaint of Mohammad Hafeez is referred to Pemra Council of Complaints Lahore for action as per law.
