Pemra will issue warning to private TV on ‘defaming’ provincial dept

PESHAWAR: The 65th meeting of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) Council of Complaints Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Shakeel Chandar in chair was held at Pemra Regional Office here on Tuesday and recommended issuance of warning to a private TV channel for character assassination of a provincial department.
The meeting also recommended to issue warning to reporter of another private channel for entering the labour room of a hospital in Mardan, says an official statement here. The meeting was attended by its members including Abdus Sattar Khan, Syed Hammad Hussain Shah, Farrah Khan, Muhammad Irshad, Farrah Sultan Ashraf and Regional General Management and Secretary CoC Rahat Ali.
