‘Earth Hour’ to be observed today

LAHORE
The City District Government Lahore (CDGL) in collaboration with the WWF-Pakistan is all set to observe the 'Earth Hour' on Saturday (today).
Officials said the Earth Hour will start at 8.30pm and continue till 9.30pm.
The main event of the Earth Hour 2016 will be held at a private university where creative performances will be held by youngsters.
Several celebrities will release sky lanterns and pledge to enjoy the memorable moments at different places of the city.
Town Hall, District Courts, GPO, Chief Minister Secretariat, Punjab Assembly Building, Badshahi Masjid and Allama Iqbal International Airport are among major buildings where Earth Day activities will be held.
