Gardezi given additional charge of MD state-run TV

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has accorded approval for handing over additional charge of Managing Director (MD) of state run TV to Information Secretary Syed Imran Gardezi. The PM has appointed Syed Imran Gardezi as MD in place of former MD Abdul Malik who retired from service on February 28, 2016 on completion of his service tenure. Abdul Malik had taken over charge of MD state run TV in January 2014 and he was drawing the salary of Rs2 million per month the highest ever in the history of state run TV.
