Pervez Musharraf discharged from hospital after tests: spokesman

KARACHI: Former president, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf on Thursday shifted to PNS Shifa hospital where his medical tests were carried out and later he was discharged.

Brig (retd) Akhtar Zamin, spokesman of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), said Pervez Musharraf was taken to the hospital after he complained of high blood pressure. 

He was also kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for sometime while reports of the tests were being prepared. 

The spokesman said the initial reports of the tests came out clear and the former president was later discharged from the hospital. 

Ealier, Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s personal physicians were also called to the hospital for consultation.
