ISLAMABAD: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Amir Sirajul Haq Saturday announced that his party will launch a country-wide campaign against the scourge of corruption from the month of March.
Addressing a press conference here, the JI Amir said his party will wage a campaign against financial, electoral and moral corruption in the country starting next month.
He wondered as to how the government took a major step of privatizing Pakistan International Airline (PIA) without taking the Parliament into confidence.
He called on the rulers to come to the dialogue table with the protesting employees of the national flag carrier.
Sirajul Haq said the entire nation is worried upset due to the PIA employees’ ongoing strike.
“Our national airline is our ambassador and the show that is continuing at the airport for the past few days is only making the enemies happy,” he said.
