KARACHI: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday said that the person shown as a suspect in a video released by Sindh Rangers is actually an employee of national flag carrier.
Chairman JAC, Sohail Baloch said that the PIA employee covered his face in the Karachi protest like many others to protect himself from the tear gas released to disperse the demonstrators.
Sohail Baloch in his address also announced to present this employee before all, however, the individual was not brought forward.
Earlier, the Sindh Rangers released a video which showed a man walking among the demonstrators with his face masked under a piece of white cloth and wearing black sunglasses.
On Tuesday, two protesters present in the PIA employees’ demonstration against the proposed privatization of the national flag carrier were killed when gunshots were fired from unknown direction.
