NAB finalizes report of 150 mega corruption scandals
The NAB operation has been extended to Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and a report focusing on corruption cases against politicians, traders, bureaucrats and retired generals has been sent to chairman NAB, said a source on Saturday. These scams include 50 land scandals, 50 financial scandals and 50 misuse of powers and corruptions scandals.
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has worked out final report of 150 mega corruption scams for holding investigation under the orders of Supreme Court (SC).
The NAB operation has been extended to Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and a report focusing on corruption cases against politicians, traders, bureaucrats and retired generals has been sent to chairman NAB, said a source on Saturday.
The source said that the NAB, in compliance with the directives of the SC, has geared up pace of investigation in respect these cases.
All the statistics documents and report with regard to these mega corruptions scams will be finalized in next week.
These scams include 50 land scandals, 50 financial scandals and 50 misuse of powers and corruptions scandals.
The NAB chairman has issued directives to all director generals and other senior officials to close such cases in respect of which NAB has no statistics documentary evidence and orders for immediate inquiry on the cases about which the statistics and documentary evidence are available be issued so that final report could be filed with SC.
