Police have opened an inquest and are investigating a mysterious case of newlywed couple found dead in their bedroom in Kasur district on Monday.
KASUR: Police have opened an inquest and are investigating a mysterious case of newlywed couple found dead in their bedroom in Kasur district on Monday.
As per details, a WAPDA employee named Ramzan Arshad reportedly married Mobeena Akram on Sunday night and returned to his residence at Hala Road with his bride form Muzaffargarh.
The family of the bridegroom told that both husband and wife went to their bedroom after having dinner. The next day, when the family members knocked at their door, they recieved no response from inside.
The family then broke the wooden door and found two dead bodies of Ramzan and his wife inside. The Pattoki city police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for autopsy. When approached by media, the police said that they were currently investigating the mysterious deaths as it not clear when and how the couple died.
The cause of death will only be determined once the postmortem is conducted.
