FAISALABAD: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said during a press conference that the whole Panama leaks issue was PTI chief Imran Khan's drama.
Speaking to media personnel, Sanaullah said that when Imran Khan's offshore company came to the fore, that day the PTI chief lost the moral and political justification to raise the issue.
Rana Sanaullah said that the Panama leaks issue never had any legal angle to it.
"The Panama leaks had a political and ethical angle," he said. "Not a legal one."
PTI chief Imran Khan and other opposition parties have called for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign after a Panamanian tax firm's documents traced three offshore companies to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's children Maryam, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz.
Government and opposition parties are trying to make the terms of reference for the judicial commission which would investigate the Panama leaks controversy.
PTI chief Imran Khan stated today during a rally in Kohat that he would not back down until the Sharif family was not held accountable for the Panama leaks controversy.
