LAHORE: A major disaster was avoided as three tyres of a local airline's aircraft burst on the taxiway.
According to details, the plane was on the taxiway when the pilot was able to identify that there was a problem with the tyres of the plane. Hence, instead of flying the plane out of the airport, he grounded it at once. Now, the tyres of the plane will be changed and then it will be flown towards its destination.
According to Civil Aviation sources, when the plane was on the taxiway, the pilot knew there was something wrong with the tyres. Hence, he informed the Air Traffic Control System and proceeded to bring the plane onto the airport's apron.
According to Civil Aviation Authority, all passengers and crew on-board the aircraft are safe.
