KARACHI: Two people were shot dead and another injured in a suspected targeted killing attack in Karachi’s Jaffer Tayyar society, police said.
According to police, the armed assailants, riding on motorcycle, opened fire on the deceased sitting outside a house in the area.
Police recovered 9mm bullet shells from the site of the incident. The deceased have been identified as Asim and Amir Haider.
DIG East said the attack seems to be incident of target killing.
Meanwhile, a man was also gunned down in Landhi 89, rescue sources said. The victim has been identified as Aqeel, 22.
Separately, police recovered body of a Sub Inspector Saleem Naseer from an apartment near Nagan Chorangi.
