QUETTA: Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday expressed resolve to root out hostile elements out of Pakistan.
Military spokesman Lt. Gen Asim Bajwa said on twitter that the army chief was briefed by Pakistan Army’s top commander in Balochistan on security operations and security situation of the province.

“Together we will defeat any nefarious designs of hurting Pakistan and root out hostile elements out of our country,” he quoted General Raheel as saying.
He said the army chief applauded efforts of law enforcement intelligences agencies for unearthing foreign intelligence network.

The army chief’s statement’s came soon after Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti told media that a nexus of Afghan and Indian intelligence was busted by law enforcement agencies.
Bugti said six terrorists planted by Afghan intelligence National Directorate of Security (NDS) and Indian intelligence Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) were involved in carrying out acts of terrorism in Pakistan killing more than 40 people.
