ISLAMABAD: Two batches consisting 190 Pakistanis had been deported from Greece to Turkey said Pakistan Embassy in Ankara Turkey.
It also termed the information as incorrect which had put the numbers of deported Pakistanis to 500.
Out of 55 batches a total of 31 were repatriated to Pakistan whereas other 159 would be repatriated after verification of their national identity and subsequent completion of other formalities, said a press release of the Foreign Office referring to Embassy’s clarification on Saturday.
The Turkish authorities have also refuted claims that the detainees were without food, it added.
