ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has launched an investigation against two junior officers of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for being allegedly involved in cyber crime through a forex company, sources told Geo news on Tuesday.
A case has been lodged against GTI Forex Company after alleged complaints against the company were made for minting money by fooling the unsuspecting masses on the internet.
The FIA Islamabad had contacted the Pakistan Air Force after names of its two technicians, Sajjad Aslam and Sanaullah, came to fore during the investigation. The PAF then handed over the two officials to FIA’s investigation officer Gohar Ali.
A formal investigation against the suspects has now been launched, the sources added.
