PM for ending culture of sit-ins to attract investors  

QUETTA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has stated that the culture of sit-ins and protest should be ended to attract the investment in the country.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of National Health Programme in Quetta, PM Nawaz Sharif said that investors shy away from countries with volatile political situation.

He said some people were creating political crisis in the name of corruption, adding that the matter of Panama Papers would be resolved in Judicial Commission.

PM Nawaz Sharif announced the distribution of 76000 health cards as he inaugurated the National Health Programme.

“No longer will the poor have to sell their houses or property to seek treatment. Health will be accessible to each and every person,” he said.

Commenting on Karachi law and order situation, PM Nawaz said the lights of Karachi are returning to its normal. “We will not allow political expediency to come in the way of Karachi operation,” he vowed.

The Premier reiterated that load shedding would be eliminated in 2018. The issue of energy-crisis would not be left for any upcoming government, he said.

Earlier, PM Nawaz Sharif inaugurated development projects worth billions of rupees in power, gas and infrastructure sectors in Balochistan.

Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Federal and Provincial Ministers, members of the parliament and senior officials were also present on the occasion.
