ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance, Ishaq Dar on Tuesday said the government has dispatched to the Chief Justice of Pakistan a letter containing the terms of reference (TORs) and scope of the probe into the allegations linked to Panama Papers.
Talking to media men, Ishaq Dar said the opposition may convey its objections, if any, by holding a meeting.
He said if the opposition wants to suggest a different scope for the probe it can bring it before public.
“If the opposition makes reasonable recommendations, the government may decide to adopt the same,” the Finance Minister said.
He said the Prime Minister could undertake another visit abroad for his medical treatment, adding, however, that the PM would himself make a decision in this regard.
Ishaq Dar said the PM had received medicines for four weeks during his last visit to UK.
