QUETTA: Police on Sunday claimed to have killed three miscreants in an exchange of fire at Eastern Bypass.
A senior official at the Satellite Town said the shootout took place when three armed men opened fire on a police vehicle. He said police reinforcement was sent to the area and the armed men were gunned down after an exchange of fire.

According to the police the “miscreants” were involved in kidnapping for ransom and other crimes. The bodies were taken to the Civil Hospital for identification and medico-legal formalities.
