Security forces foil attack, kill 15 terrorists in Kurram

LOWER KURRAM: Pakistani security forces thwarted a militant attack on a check-post in Lower Kurram Agency and killed at least 15 terrorists in retaliatory fire early on Thursday.

According to details, a group of militants launched attack on a check-post in Mingorsar area, where armed forces retaliated in a befitting manner and shoot dead 15 of them. More than 50 assailants were injured and managed to flee.

Lower Kurram is a sensitive area and it borders with Afghanistan.

The security forces have launched search operation in the area after the attack.
