Six held in Karachi raid after clash in election rally

KARACHI: Police on Tuesday arrested five people during a raid in connection with a violent clash during an election rally.
Police said the raid was conducted in Lines Area during which five suspects were taken into custody.

A police official said the suspects are being investigated for their role in the clash which took place on Monday in a rally taken out by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Lines Area.
Names of the suspects were not disclosed by the police. Political parties in Karachi are campaigning for by-elections in the National Assembly constituency NA-245 and provincial assembly constituency PS-115.
