PM personally overseeing issue of RAW agent: Pervaiz Rashid
FAISALABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was personally overseeing the issue of Indian spy’s arrest from Balochistan.
Speaking to media, he said the Indian secret service was operating in Pakistan with an aim to halt progress in the country. “We summoned Indian high commissioner over RAW activities,” he said.
The minister seemed to lose his calm when a journalist asked him about an alleged arrest of an Indian spy from a sugar mill owned by Sharif family. “Only opponents were talking about such an arrest from the sugar mill,” he said.
He said the National Action Plan against terrorists is being implemented with coordinated efforts in the country.
The minister said international community has acknowledged efforts of the government in combating terrorism.
