Iranian President Rouhani to arrive Pakistan on Friday
ISLAMABAD: President of Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hassan Rouhani will arrive in Islamabad on Friday on a two-day visit (March 25 to 26).
Foreign Office has officially announced the visit of Iranian President. In a statement, foreign office said that at the invitation of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will visit Pakistan from 25-26 March 2016.
This will be President Rouhani’s first visit to Pakistan as the President of Iran. The Iranian President will be accompanied by a high level delegation comprising Ministers, senior officials and businessmen.
During his stay in Islamabad, Rouhani will hold meetings with the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The leadership will have an exchange of views on strengthening bilateral relations particularly after lifting of the sanctions on Iran that has opened new avenues for enhancing economic interaction.
The visit of Dr. Rouhani will further deepen the existing fraternal ties between the two countries.
