HYDERABAD: Former city mayor Syed Mustafa Kamal’s party Pak Sarzameen Hyderabad office will be inaugurated today.
The office, set up in Latifabad No.6 will be inaugurated by Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani at 5:00 p.m today.
Mustafa Kamal, de-facto chief of the MQM's dissident group, on Wednesday formally launched his political party demanding the government to announce a general amnesty for workers of his former party.
Former leaders of the Muttahida Quami Movement Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Raza Haroon, Wasim Aftab, Iftikhar Alam and Anees Qaimkhani were also present during the ceremony held at Banquet Hall and attended by scores of male and female supporters.
"Today, on March 23rd we are laying foundation of nationalism.," he said before announcing name of his party at the end of a long speech, in which he outlined manifesto of his party that would be announced latter.
