ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz sharif has appointed Muhammad Amlish as new Director General (DG) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The Interior Ministry on Tuesday issued a notification for the appointment of the Amlish as new DG FIA.

Amlish, grade 21 office of police group, was serving as Director General Police Bureau. He also served as IG Balochistan police from June 2014 to October 2015 besides Additional IG Special Branch and Investigation Punjab Police.
He also remained deputy director FIA during 1997-99.
The Premier appointed Amlish as DG FIA on the summery forwarded by the interior ministry.
