ISLAMABAD: Former president of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the suicide attack in Charsadda court compound on Monday killing 16 people and injuring over two dozen.
A statement issued by the PPP said former president was shocked and grieved over “this barbaric attack in which innocent citizens were killed and injured”.
Asif Ali Zardari said incidents of terrorism and militancy have not and will not weaken the resolve to fight the militants to the finish.
He paid rich tributes to valiant law enforcing personnel who stopped the suicide bomber from entering main building thus preventing further loss of lives.
He asked the authorities to take all measures to provide best medical care to the injured of this attack. He also directed his party workers to extend every help to the injured and visit the residences of martyrs to condole with the bereaved families.
The former president offered sincere condolences to the members of bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace for those martyred in the attack and for the early recovery of injured.
