Energy crisis biggest challenge for government: Dar

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on Tuesday that the energy crisis was the biggest challenge faced by the government.

Addressing a seminar here, Dar gave a deadline for the elimination of loadshedding. “10,600 MW of electricity will be added to the national grid by maximum March 2018.”

The finance minister also invited politicians to come and sign the Charter

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on Tuesday that the energy crisis was the biggest challenge faced by the government.

Addressing a seminar here, Dar gave a deadline for the elimination of loadshedding. “10,600 MW of electricity will be added to the national grid by maximum March 2018.”

The finance minister also invited politicians to come and sign the Charter of Economy. He stressed that politics would have to be separated from the economy.

The seminar was also addressed by the Korean Ambassador who said direct flights should commence between the two countries.
