PML-N leads against PTI in pre-poll surveys

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is leading against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in pre-survey polls conducted for the by-elections.

A sample of around 800 people from each constituency of NA-122 Lahore , NA-125 Lahore, and NA-154 Lodhran, was asked who they would vote for in their constituency. The polls were conducted in September and then again in October.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is leading against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in pre-survey polls conducted for the by-elections.

A sample of around 800 people from each constituency of NA-122 Lahore , NA-125 Lahore, and NA-154 Lodhran, was asked who they would vote for in their constituency. The polls were conducted in September and then again in October.

According to the poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan in NA-122 in September, out of the sample who was surveyed, 36% favoured PTI, while 51% favoured PML-N.

When Gallup conducted the poll in October, 37% favoured PTI, while 46% favoured the PML-N.

Meanwhile, according to the poll conducted by Pulse Consultant in September, 36% favoured PTI, while 57% favoured the PML-N.

Pulse Consultant’s October poll showed that 42% favoured PTI, while 52% favoured PML-N.

The results above prove that although the PTI managed to increase its popularity within a month, but it failed to beat out the majority of PML-N voter base.

According to the poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan in NA-125 in September, out of the sample who was surveyed, 30% favoured PTI, while 56% favoured PML-N.

When Gallup conducted the poll in October, 29% favoured PTI, while 58% favoured the PML-N.

Meanwhile, according to the poll conducted by Pulse Consultant in September, 34% favoured PTI, while 57% favoured the PML-N.

Pulse Consultant’s October poll showed that 34% favoured PTI, while 58% favoured PML-N.

The results above for NA-125 also show that PML-N is leading in this constituency as well with numbers rising for the party in October.

According to the poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan in NA-154 in September, out of the sample who was surveyed, 42% favoured PTI, while 36% favoured PML-N.

When Gallup conducted the poll in October, 28% favoured PTI, while 50% favoured the PML-N.

Meanwhile, according to the poll conducted by Pulse Consultant in September, 42% favoured PTI, while 42% favoured the PML-N.

Pulse Consultant’s October poll showed that 38% favoured PTI, while 50% favoured PML-N.

According to the results above, although the competition between the two parties seemed leveled in September, however, results for October indicate that clearly PML-N is leading again.
