KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister, Nisar Khuhro Wednesday said a committee has started investigating into the matter of anti-Rangers advertisements that appeared in a section of press.
Talking to media persons here, Khuhro said a committee formed under Sanaullah Abbasi was investigating into the matter.
Commenting on action against corruption, he said the anti-corruption department has been functioning for many years.
“We will ensure that those involved in corruption are subjected to thorough accountability,” he said, adding, it will not be like that of ‘Mian Sahib’ as he provided a safe passage to his brother.
Commenting on a protest staged in Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, Khuhro said there must be some reason that led to the protest. “It is the responsibility of the Board’s secretary to look into this issue,” he added.
