Peace restored in Karachi by defeating terrorism: IG Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh IG, Gulam Haider Jamali on Sunday claimed that peace and order has been restored in the metropolis by eliminating terrorism, target killing and extortion.

KARACHI: Sindh IG, Gulam Haider Jamali on Sunday claimed that peace and order has been restored in the metropolis by eliminating terrorism, target killing and extortion.

Addressing a ceremony to distribute cheques among the families of martyred policemen, the IG said the ongoing operation in the city was not targeting any particular party rather it was being carried out against al-Qaeda and Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) – India’s top intelligence agency.

He said the courageous policemen and officers established peace in Karachi and Sindh by laying down the sacrifice of their lives.

Ghulam Haider Jamali said arresting the terrorists of al-Qaeda and RAW in Karachi was a big achievement.
