ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Tuesday that 14 attackers were involved in the terrorist attack on Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Camp Badaber, and not 13 as reported earlier.

He went on to say that the identities of five of the attackers have been confirmed, while nine of them are yet to be identified.

Nisar further said that the mastermind of the Badaber attack is from Afghanistan, adding that the nine others could be foreign.

The interior minister pointed out that Afghanistan blames Pakistan for any terrorist incident on its soil.

“Such irresponsible statements could harm bilateral relations.”

He said Afghanistan should demonstrate responsibility with regard to misuse of its territory against any other country.

Earlier today, intelligence agencies conducted an operation in Charsdadda and arrested a suspect involved in the Badaber attack who was identified as Bakhtiar.
