US ambassador Olson condemns Badaber attack

ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Badaber.

“The United States stands with Pakistan in its struggle against terrorism and violent extremism. Few countries are as affected as Pakistan by the cruel violence perpetrated by terrorists,” he said in a statement released by the US Embassy here.

The United States will continue to work closely with Pakistan to secure peace and stability in the country and in the region.

He also extended, on behalf of the American Embassy, the deepest sympathies and condolences to the victims of heinous attack in Badaber and their families.

"The US strongly condemns this senseless and inhumane act that took numerous lives including 15 people inside a mosque while they were praying."
