LONDON: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said that entire leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) always openly opposed formation of a monitoring committee for the ongoing crackdown on criminals in Karachi.

In a statement issued from MQM London Secretariat, party leader Nadeem Nusrat claimed that PPP had been beating the drums of celebration for the past two years over what he termed the operation against MQM.

“Today, for the first time, PPP has begun to see the shortcomings of Karachi operation,” he said.

The MQM leader said PPP, which has been putting forth its advice to MQM, should now face with allegations against itself bravely.
