LAHORE: Pakistani film star, Babra Sharif appealed to senior Punjab Police officials on Monday to help recover her stolen valuables worth Rs 3 million (USD 29,000).
According to Babra Sharif, a diamond necklace worth three million rupees was stolen from her M.M. Alam road, Gulberg residence. The superstar reported the theft and nominated her maid servant and her accomplice as the persons of interest in the case.
The police, Sharif says, detained the suspects but instead of recovering her necklace, the police let the suspects go free.
She expressed her displeasure over the police’s lackluster investigation and efforts to recover her property. She has appealed to the senior Punjab Police officials to help recover the valuables immediately.
