Four Ferrari Commanders in Balochistan lay down arms

QUETTA: Four Ferrari Commanders surrendered in the presence of Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday.

The militants who surrendered vowed to shun violence and not to fight against the Pakistani state in the future.

QUETTA: Four Ferrari Commanders surrendered in the presence of Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday.

The militants who surrendered vowed to shun violence and not to fight against the Pakistani state in the future.

Abdul Sattar, a key commander who was also among those who decided to quit militancy said that they were trained in Nimruz province of Afghanistan.

He added that they faced no hindrances while travelling to Balochistan from Afghanistan.

Regarding the situation, Home Minister Bugti said that the federal government has been informed about this state of affairs.

Bugti further said that there will be no safe haven for any terrorists in Balochistan including the Taliban.

Over 400 militants from various areas of Balochistan laid down their weapons and vowed to shun violence in a ceremony on the 69th Independence Day of Pakistan.
