SIALKOT: A woman was killed and three others of her family severely injured in unprovoked Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday.
Locals say intermittent firing and shelling from Indian forces was still ongoing in Nezapir sector.
Sources said a woman identified as Muneera Akhtar was martyred while her husband and two daughters were critically injured when a mortar shell hit their house.
Three houses were also destroyed in Indian shelling in the area.
The Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to the Indian aggression across LoC.
