Wasim Akram firing: Police arrest driver, recover vehicle used
KARACHI: Police have achieved major development in former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram's shooting case as they arrested the driver of the accused on Saturday.
According to DIG East, Munir Shaikh, the police have also recovered the actual vehicle, which is silver in colour. The registration number of the seized four-wheeler is AEJ-061.

KARACHI: Police have achieved major development in former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram's shooting case as they arrested the driver of the accused on Saturday.
According to DIG East, Munir Shaikh, the police have also recovered the actual vehicle, which is silver in colour. The registration number of the seized four-wheeler is AEJ-061.
The owner of the vehicle, which hit the car of Wasim in Karachi, is still at large.
On Friday, Sindh Police also arrested an accused who is said to be a private security guard. Police is striving to bring their employer to book, as well.
The vehicle of former skipper was fired upon in the Karsaz area of the city after what police described as an incident fuelled by ‘road rage’.
The legendary left-arm fast bowler remained safe in the incident.
