COAS, UK Defence Secretary discuss security cooperation

RAWALPINDI: UK Secretary of State for Defence Michael Fallon visited the General Headquarters on Wednesday and called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.

In a press release the ISPR said matters related to defence, security cooperation and measures to enhance bilateral defence and training collaboration were discussed during the meeting.

Michael Fallon appreciated Pakistan Army’s sacrifices during Operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts for peace and stability in the region.

Earlier, on arrival at General Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented Guard of Honor to the dignitary, who laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
