US embassy employee gunned down in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani man working at the United States embassy in Islamabad has been shot dead by unknown gunmen, police officials said Sunday.

According to a spokesperson for the Islamabad police, the incident of firing took place on Saturday in the G-9/1 area of the federal capital.

It was not immediately clear who carried out the shooting.
