BUJ announces protest against torture on Faheem Siddiqui

QUETTA: Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) has condemned police torture on Geo News Karachi Bureau Chief, Faheem Ahmed Siddiqui and announced to protest against it in Quetta today.

QUETTA: Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) has condemned police torture on Geo News Karachi Bureau Chief, Faheem Ahmed Siddiqui and announced to protest against it in Quetta today.

BUJ President Hamadullah demanded of the Sindh government for immediate arrest of the culprits. He also announced that journalists’ body will hold a protest demonstration against the incident in Quetta on Sunday at 5:00PM

Faheem Siddiqui was kidnapped on his way to work on Saturday by men in plain clothes and police uniforms. He was bound and gagged, assaulted, his property taken away and was left tied up in Manghopir.
