PPP leadership reshuffles Sindh cabinet

KARACHI: The Central leadership of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to reshuffle the Sindh cabinet, sources said.

According to the sources the decision has been taken at a meeting held in Dubai.

They said it was decided that Sharjeel Memon would be given portfolio of Works and Services Department and Archives while Nisar Khoro, Nasir Shah, Mukesh Kumar Chawla

KARACHI: The Central leadership of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to reshuffle the Sindh cabinet, sources said.

According to the sources the decision has been taken at a meeting held in Dubai.

They said it was decided that Sharjeel Memon would be given portfolio of Works and Services Department and Archives while Nisar Khoro, Nasir Shah, Mukesh Kumar Chawla and Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani would assume provincial ministries of Information, local government, Public Health Engineering and Rural Development respectively.

Nisar Khoro, who was until recently serving as Education Minister, would be given additional portfolio of irrigation ministry besides the information ministry.

Meanwhile, the Sindh Government notified appointment of Muhammad Wasim, a 21 grade officer, as Administrator of Karachi Municipal Corporation.

According to the notification, Mumtaz Shah has been given additional charge of Chairman of Anti-Corruption while Ijaz Memon has been appointed as Secretary Works and Services Department.
