LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader, Hamza Shahbaz said Sunday that the aim of the ongoing Karachi operation is not to target any individual rather it is being carried out to transform the city of lights into a gemstone of peace.

He expressed these views while talking to media persons on the occasion of his visit to a children’s hospital here.

He said the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had taken all the political parties on board over the Karachi operation and assured that it is not against any individual.

“On the occasion Eid, we pay tributes to the soldiers, Rangers and policemen engaged in the fight against terrorism. They are protecting the nation’s future by sacrificing their celebrations of Eid,” Hamza Shahbaz said.

The PML-N leader said like Kalabagh Dam, the multi billion project of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor must not be thrown into the mouth of controversy.
