Imran says Wajihuddin continuing to pass orders on behalf of defunct tribunal

ISLAMABAD: In a letter to Justice (Retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday blamed him for the ‘current unacceptable state of affairs in PTI.’

He went on say in his letter that Wajihuddin continues to pass orders on behalf of the now defunct tribunal.

He further said that PTI is the only political party to have held intraparty

ISLAMABAD: In a letter to Justice (Retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday blamed him for the ‘current unacceptable state of affairs in PTI.’

He went on say in his letter that Wajihuddin continues to pass orders on behalf of the now defunct tribunal.

He further said that PTI is the only political party to have held intraparty elections.

Khan in his letter added that as PTI chairman he created the party’s election tribunal as well as appointed him (Wajihuddin) as its head.

He further said that the tribunal was made to investigate complaints against the polls.

The PTI chief added that intraparty reelections were held on your (Wajihuddin’s) recommendations.

He also said that the tribunal was dissolved as its mandate had been fulfilled and achieved respectively.
