ISLAMABAD: A delegation of senior Pakistan People’s Party leaders called on Imran Khan at his residence in Banigala on Wednesday.
The PPP leaders Samsam Bukhari, Ashraf Sohna and Arif Khan Lashari met with Imran Khan to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
A PTI spokesman said the entire organization of PPP Okara has joined the Tehreek-e-Insaf. Besides PPP’s former leaders, Ikramullah Ranjha , a PML-N leader and former MPA, also joined the PTI.
“We have joined PTI after meeting with Imran Khan, we have no personal differences but we dissent People’s Party’s prevailing policy,” said Samsam Bukhari while talking to reporters.
“We started to feel like B-team of Nawaz-League, so for the protection of people’s rights we decided to join PTI” he added.
